Seeing the Light of Day: Emerging findings and next steps

Venue: St James Priory, Whitson Street, Bristol, BS1 3NZ

The aim of this meeting is to bring together museum curators, ALGAO members, archaeological contractors, museum development officers and other stakeholders in the “Seeing the Light of Day” project.  The project is consulting widely to investigate sustainable solutions for the management, accessibility and long-term preservation of archaeological archives in the South West. We have been consulting curators and contractors across the region to understand the status quo and to explore possible solutions to the long term storage and public access to archaeological archives. This meeting is an opportunity for the project to update its stakeholders on progress so far, and to discuss possible solutions.
